the fine print

rulebook

How games run, how stats are kept, and what gets you benched.

01

game format

  • 5v5, four 6-minute quarters, with a running clock except the final two minutes of the fourth.
  • Overtime is 3 minutes, repeating until a winner is decided.
  • Games are played on the league's private server. Home team hosts and picks the side.
  • A team must have at least four players checked in five minutes after the scheduled tip-off or forfeit.
02

scoring & stats

  • Commissioners enter a full box score after each game — points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, turnovers and shooting splits.
  • Per-game averages, shooting percentages, double-doubles and triple-doubles are generated automatically from those lines.
  • A double-double is 10+ in any two categories; a triple-double is 10+ in any three.
  • Once a box score is finalised, standings and leaderboards update immediately.
03

eligibility

  • Each player appears on one roster per season. Playing for two teams voids that game.
  • Rosters cap at 8 players; players must be on the roster before their first game.
  • Trade deadline is the end of week 5. After that, rosters are locked until the season ends.
04

conduct

  • Trash talk stays in the game. Slurs, harassment or doxxing is an immediate suspension.
  • Arguing a call: the team captain pauses, states the issue once, and plays on.
  • Three technicals in a season result in a one-game suspension.
05

playoffs

  • Top four teams per conference qualify.
  • First round is best-of-three, conference finals best-of-five, the championship best-of-seven.
  • Ties in the standings break by head-to-head, then point differential.
